  • FREED Magazine is a community of creatives who love Jesus and believe we are called to live in FREEDOM! We share testimonies and our struggles to bring light on what is so often hidden. Our society prides itself on appearing perfect, but we at FREED know that we are far from perfect and still we are deeply loved by Christ! FREED is for those who are searching for answers, hope, and a community to support them through the peaks and the valleys of life. We are also a community who share artwork from creatives no matter their religion, race, political affiliation or gender identification.

    FREED Magazine has an Online Journal (blog) and offers online and print issues.

  • You can submit your writings to potentially become a contributor for FREED Magazine. Click the “Become a Contributor” tab and fill out the information requested. By contributing you are volunteering your content to be shared throughout our community. Our Editors will review your submission and determine if it is a good fit for FREED. We encourage you to submit multiple pieces and to write towards our current theme to increase the chances of being selected.

    Please note we receive a large number of submissions, because of this we may not publish your submission until over a year after you submit. If selected, your submission may be used on our Online Journal or in one of our print magazines.

  • We encourage you to pray about what you should write before submitting your work. Our readers are looking for authentic stories, testimonies, and much more! The basis of our magazine centers around an authentic community of testimonies and art of various mediums. If you have a topic that is not listed we encourage you to submit it. You may be the key to reaching more people!

  • Write as if you were sitting down with a close friend. “I felt loss and discouraged, but….” Try to bring your testimony full circle starting from the beginning and ending in how your overcame. (1000 max word count)

    Do not “preach at people” or “tell people” what they should do. Simply tell your story in a way that is relatable, transparent, and authentic.

    FREED Magazine is a faith based company. Our company is devoted to professing Jesus and we use the Bible as our final authority. We would love for you to be a part of our community, especially if you are not a Christian! We welcome you to still contribute to FREED Magazine; however, if we believe that your content is not suitable to our mission, we reserve the right to pass on your submission. We celebrate you and your willingness to contribute and hope that you feel an overwhelming sense of love within our community!

  • 1000 words or less.

    If you go over this word count your submission will automatically be ineligible for our print magazine. However, you may be selected for our online journal.

    (1) Fill out our photography Creative Submission Form and upload your images at the link above. We prefer this method because it allows our editors to get to know you a little more and provides of with more details when we curate your submission.

  • We are always accepting submissions for our magazine. However, the sooner the better.

    We receive submissions on a VOLUNTARY basis. All income received from magazine sales goes back into freed magazine llc to FURTHER spread the gospel through the sharing testimonies.
